On May 18, 2025, an event commemorating the 81st anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people was held at the SO’GALLI-OTA Cemetery near the Deportation Monument.

Representatives of the Avdet National Cultural Center, diaspora elders, clergy, and invited guests delivered speeches.

A prayer service (dua) was read and flowers were laid at the Deportation Monument in memory of all those who perished and survived such a difficult period!
