On October 2, a screening of the film “Evge” by director Nariman Aliyev took place in Montreal. It drew a packed house of Canadians eager to learn about Crimean Tatar culture and see the world from our perspective. Ukrainian youth also attended, showing equal interest in the film.

Before the screening, Aidana Piestova, a representative of our Association, gave a short speech emphasizing the importance of the film and the themes presented by Nariman Aliyev.

We express our gratitude to the event organizers for bringing this film to Canada and helping introduce Canadians to the richness of Crimean Tatar culture.
