Photo Exhibition “Faces of Deportation”

📍 Maarstraße 72, Trier

📅 May 30 – June 30

👥 Organizer: Cultural Association in Trier

🎨 Exhibition Curator: Vladimir Usoltsev. The exhibition is available in Ukrainian, English, and German.

We cordially invite you to visit this special photo exhibition by Crimean Tatar photographer Zarema Yaliboilu, whose work has already been exhibited in Kyiv, New York, Ottawa, and many other cities.

This exhibition is more than just a series of portraits. It is the voice of people who have preserved their dignity and memory. These are the faces of history—each with gazes full of dignity and hope.

Zarema Yaliboilu @zariko_photo has been working for decades to ensure the world sees and hears the stories of her people. Her portraits are windows into destinies that cannot be forgotten. They are a reminder of the importance of preserving cultural heritage and the power of traditions that endure.

Exhibition curator Vladimir Usoltsev helps reveal the depth of these stories and make the exhibition a space for exchange, memory, and mutual understanding.

Come. To hear the stories that still resonate. To see faces that will never fade. And to keep memory alive together.
